To get away from the horrible 110 degree heat, we decided to go hiking up in Mt. Charleston. It's nice to know that only 40 minutes away is a forest oasis with temperatures around 80 and the smell of pine in the air. It was great to get away for a couple of hours!

Aaahhh I agree, that 110 heat is soo horrible! We were visiting this last week and practically lived in the pool! Im sorry you have to live in that heat, but at least the nice winters there make up for it!
