Drum Roll Please.

I did something I never thought I would do in a million years: let my husband get a puppy. Yep, I still don't know why I did this. Probably because I love him and he loves dogs so I had to give in. She is a 10 week old springerdoodle named Pepper. I have no idea what to do with her. Thank goodness for Jason. I guess this is good training for kids because the first night we had her she cried ALL NIGHT LONG. She has been pretty good ever since, though. And she rings a bell when she needs to go to the bathroom. Thank goodness she's smart or I might lose my mind. And Jason will actually go on walks with me at night now! Also, she is only allowed in Jason's man cave so I can run away upstairs and be done with her whenever I want. So, ya, I think I might survive this whole dog thing.

I Had a Birthday.

So a few weeks ago I turned the big 2-4! Okay, not that big, though for some reason it sounds a lot older than 23 to me. Anyways, it turned out to be a great birthday thanks to my amazing husband. All I asked for was a day full of shopping. Well, after 5 hours and only a couple of things to show for it I got all depressed because I felt like the shopping trip was a bit of a failure. So, fabulous Jason called up a buddy who works at the JW Marriott Resort (my FAVORITE hotel in Vegas) and asked if we could get a room for the night. Boy did he hook us up! We had beautiful suite with a giant balcony with views of the strip and their beautiful pool area! I was in heaven!

My friend Amanda came to visit from Missouri a few weeks ago and we had so much fun! She had never been to the desert before, and I think I have convinced her to make this place a yearly trip! Miss ya girl!
