Wedding of the Century.

There is just something so royally romantic about a commoner marrying a prince. I've been slightly obsessed with this wedding since the engagement announcement. Princess Catherine is living every little girl's dream. I may or may not have cried my eyes out during the whole ceremony thinking of how long Kate has been waiting for this. Plus, I feel like she is our generation's Princess like Diana's was my Mom's generation. Opinions of the day? Princess Catherine looked stunning in her Alexander McQueen (designed by Sarah Burton) gown. Lace is always a classic way to go and will never disappoint. I loved how excited Harry was while Kate walked down the aisle and William couldn't turn around. I also loved the second kiss and how they drove in the Aston Martin alone. Seriously, I hope she feels the day was as perfect as I do!

Red Rock Canyon.

Sometimes I forget that I live a short distance from many national park wonders. So, I've decided that we need to start exploring these places. Last weekend we ventured up to Red Rock Canyon (only 15 minutes away) and it was beautiful. Since my husband has hurt his knee once again playing basketball, we couldn't get out and do any of the hikes. But, we did take the 13 mile scenic drive with the windows down and music playing. That equaled a perfect Saturday afternoon.

Can't Wait.

Here is the forecast for this weekend. I'm planning on laying by the pool and hiking/driving around red rock for the first time in hopes of getting a little color on this pale body.

A Hike.

We NEVER go on hikes because I suck at them. But, I decided it is time to get in shape. So one beautiful Saturday afternoon we decided to hike Lone Mountain. I only made it about half way because I am totally out of shape and pathetic. Here are some pictures, though!

(the next monday we got gym memberships, i promise i'll make it all the way next time)

Its a Celebration.

My mom came in town a few weeks ago and while she was here we got to celebrate Jason's 25 Birthday! Lucky for him, he got a two day celebration. On Friday my mom treated us to "Ka" one of the cirque shows on the strip. Saturday Jason woke up to go to a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at the church. The last thing he said to me before he left was "I guess I'll go play basketball in my old Kobe basketball shoes." While on the way to the garage he found his brand new Kobe Basketball shoes he has been dieing for. Then on Saturday night we had a JDawg party with friends and family. JDawgs is probably Jason's all time favorite place to eat in Provo. Now they bottle their sauce so some friends brought three bottles down for us! We have been in heaven ever since!

(this is a Jdawg, Jason used to eat here at least TWICE a week)
