Bambina!

It's official! We will be having a bambina! The doctor actually told us at week 14 it was a girl, but we decided to wait to announce it until we found out for sure. Good thing I went ahead and bought some cute stuff that was on sale this weekend!

We seriously couldn't be more excited!

Pregnancy = Less Brain Cells

For example:

I have used the same pin # on my debit card for at least 5 years. I went to withdraw cash the other day and typed it in incorrectly 4 times before going into the bank and embarrassingly ask for a new pin #. I still have no idea what my pin # was.

Jason was recording a new message on his business phone. He asked me if it sounded good. Apparently, I said yes. Two days later his phone went to voice mail. I was like "what the heck is this message?". When I got a hold of him I told him that. "Sarah, I asked you if you liked it and you said yes." Still have no recollection of this conversation.

Please brain, don't lose any more brain cells!

Pregnancy.

Well, if you haven't heard by now, we are pregnant! We are so excited to welcome a little bambino somewhere around October 21st! Life has been crazy hectic since this whole process started. I am officially 17 1/2 weeks and feeling pretty good. Here's a pictures of my unusually large belly (seriously people, who is this big this far along?) The rest is for me to remember for the next time around...

First Trimester:
- February 6th took pregnancy test, came back positive, didn't stop shaking for a couple of hours, both of us may have freaked out for a little while
- February 15th first dr's appointment, started progesterone supplement
- February 22nd (5 1/2 weeks), the nausea really kicked in, never threw up, just dry heaved (no one really wants to know but me) We had to speak in church this week and it was pretty much miserable!
-Wondered why people have a second child until week 10
-Week 7 = had appointment to make sure heart was beating because of my progesterone levels, everything went well, other than waiting for my appointment for 2 hours!
-Week 10 = told family and heard heart beat, Jason's first appointment with me
-Week 12 = thought I felt better but threw up twice this week, started to feel huge

Second Trimester:
-Week 13 = all nausea pretty much gone except for late at night and when I was brushing my teeth, got to go off progesterone supplement
-Week 14 = told us what they think the sex is, but have to wait till May 29th to really know
-Week 15 = can finally brush tongue again!
-Week 16 = definitely showing (who shows this early, I guess I do), so much so that I get kicked off a water slide while on vacation
- Week 17 = can no longer zip up pants, now need to start shopping

Thoughts: excited, scared, apprehensive, overwhelmed, joy
